I had so much fun meeting this threesome today. Morgan and Rob are brother and sister and Tootsie is their dog. They got together to do a portrait for their mom for Mother’s Day. Isn’t that so sweet??
Not only is it a nice thing to do but it’s also very important. Let me tell you why. This weekend my in-laws will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. My brother-in-law is putting together a slideshow of images with all of our families. I got an e-mail asking for a few pictures of me, my husband, and my two girls. I came up with one photo of my family. ONE PHOTO! I am a photographer and I have ONE PICTURE of my family together. I am mortified.
So before I get on with the pictures, I want you to listen very carefully. Whether you hire a professional photographer or not, TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES! Don’t worry about how you look or what you’re wearing or if the kids are misbehaving. It doesn’t matter. I promise that when you look back on those photos you will be glad you have them. Pictures are a wonderful way to preserve memories. THEY HAVE THE POWER TO FREEZE TIME.
Both of my grandparents passed away a long time ago. The only thing I have left to remember them are pictures. Enough said.
Now, on to Morgan and Rob. They were super nice and very easy to talk to (not to mention pretty easy on the eyes). Look at these gorgeous faces.

Tootsie was such a good sport. I think all she really wanted to do was run around and play.

Morgan and Rob, thanks so much for coming to the park today. It was wonderful to finally meet you! I know your mom is going to love the images we got. These are just a few. I can’t wait to show you the rest. Oh and come find me on Facebook!
