I went into today’s newborn session with an open mind. Kendall is 4 weeks old, a couple weeks older than I am used to for a newborn session, but she was soooo easy. When I arrived she was asleep and she stayed that way for most of the session. Mom and I chatted while the baby took a break to eat and it turns out we have a lot in common. We swapped stories about living with our in-laws and commiserated about how hard this parenting gig is. Nicole has had a rough few years but I bet good things are on the horizon. She’s got two beautiful, healthy children, that’s a good start!
Kendall has a big brother but I didn’t get to meet him today. Today was all about Kendall! By the way, the headbands and hats you see on some of the newborns are mine. I got them from Etsy. If you haven’t checked out the site, go now. They are awesome! www.etsy.com.

After her bottle, we took Kendall outside for a few minutes. It was getting warm so I didn’t want to keep her out for too long but she seemed to really like being in the steamy weather. Oohhh I love those squishy newborns faces.
