My Obsession

I think I might be a little weird but I am obsessed with paper products. I love making lists so I always have notepads and scraps of paper laying around. I love journals, books, stationary, anything that I can write on or in. I couldn’t live without my calendars too. Yes, I have many. A friend of mine tried to get me setup with Outlook Express so that I could have all of my appointments on the computer but I still keep a paper calendar that I refer to when people ask my availability.

So when this adorable set came my way I thought I would pass it along to you. It’s a desk calendar, a notepad to write down all your to-do lists, a clipboard, and a photo album. I would love to keep it but I just can’t handle anymore paper in my office. The colors are great and I am all about Dreams and Inspiration.

So what I’m going to ask you to do is leave a comment telling me who or what INSPIRES you. Since there is only one set, only one person will win.

One comment per person please and the winner will be chosen at random on Monday. Please make sure that you are commenting on this post. Good Luck!!

Great idea Stacy & I too luv this set! This this would come in handy! I’m always inspired by my kids & husband! There is never a dull moment in our household…especailly with everyones busy schedules. So I am forced to be a planner and am an organized person. The end result are the smiles on their faces… I always say a happy wife (mommy) makes for a happy life!!

Have to go with my son, Landen….he inspired me every single day to be better….for him! It’s crazy how much one life can change a person’s priorities and inspirations, but Landen does!

My daughter inspires me. She inspires me to get up in the morning, to work hard to teach her what I know, to learn to truly not sweat the small stuff, and more! Every time she laughs or gives me a special smile meant just for me, I know all those hard decisions and times are worth it.

My inspiration are my parents. They have gone above & beyond their duties as parents for us. They are loving, hard working, honest individuals to say the least – and I feel fortunate to still have both my parents around (and happily married for 27 years). They are my role models – and I can only hope that Mario and I can be as amazing parents to our little one, as they have been with me.

Two things in life that inspire me and continue to fuel the drive in me to succeed as an individual:

1. First and foremost my husband and especially my lil Isaiah – those eyes sparkle and melt my heart every single time ;0)
2. I think about what inspiring famous thought leaders in the past have accomplished whether in the athletic, scholastic, and or political arena. The amount of work and perseverance that is behind their success is the longest part let alone the hardest part of their journey, and unfortunately it is the part that we don’t see and sometimes take for granted, but make no mistake their success is not by any stroke of luck. It is the result of a lot of blood, sweat, and tears to say the least.

I am inspired by my class! They have such an interesting perspective. I love to chat with them and see things through a different lens! Wow….how they’ve grown and changed in the last 9 months!!!

My Grandmother inspires me as I think of what she went through having 7 kids and an unsupportive husband. I am thinking of her a lot today since She died today, 35 years ago. I miss her terribly and I had her for such a short time. I am lucky to have a VERY supportive hubby whom I love very much. Thank God for him. Grandma must have been watching over me! <3

My inspiration has to be the little person who I have yet to meet. She is such a force to be reckoned with even though I have no idea what she looks like yet!

I am an old fashion type of girl myself. I think it’s handy to always have a paper and pen handy. Especially when your a mom, my children inspire me to want to remember and have notes for them to be able to read when they get older. I have a box filled with notes and napkins with writings on them from special days that I had written on their apkins for them to read at lunch time.!!!
