Last night I went to see Taylor Swift with my 6 year-old. It was her first concert and one of many more I hope to see with her. We were lucky enough to see her up close and personal too. Our seats were in Section I and at one point Taylor comes through the crowd and hugs people on the end. Julianna was a bit bummed that she didn’t get a hug, but I tried to remind her that she was one of very few people who got to be close to her. She even sang 2 songs right in front of our section. I tried to bump up her spirits by telling her that Taylor looked right at her. It seemed to work.
I had a great time too. I think she did a wonderful job of getting the crowd involved and she has a fantastic stage presence.
Julianna wore her Taylor Swift t-shirt to school today. Poor thing is sitting in class right now probably wishing she were back in bed. We didn’t get home until 11:30!!
