A gorgeous day, a gorgeous little girl, and a birthday ~ could this day get any better?? Makayla is turning one. She’s not walking just yet so she was a little leary about letting go of mom in the beginning.
Mom is the owner of Olive Branch Papery, a fabulous design and invitation company. Not only is she super talented, but she’s a wonderful woman. She’s an inspiration to me. Running a business with 3 small children at home is nearly impossible, but she makes it work. You go girl!
Makayla is the baby in the family. She’s got two older sisters, but today was all about her. This little girl has the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen on a child. I didn’t do anything to these baby blues in Photoshop. They are so sparkly and the color is amazing. That smile isn’t too shabby either.
My new favorite props. These parasols are so great. Makayla is a little too young to hold them so I thought about using them to bring some color into the background. Love it!
Thanks K family for playing with me today. Olivia and Amelia, you are amazing big sisters. Thanks for all your help. I can’t wait until it’s your birthday!!
