It figures that I would pick the hottest week of the summer to go on vacation. And the hottest week of the summer to schedule a few mini beach sessions. Temperatures hit 100 yesterday! It was too hot to even sit by the pool for more than a few minutes.
I was expecting the worst when I headed to the beach at 6:00 but I have to be honest, it wasn’t that bad. There was a breeze near the water so it was tolerable. There were actually quite a few people still on the beach. The kiddies didn’t seem to mind the heat at all.
