Jessica and Chris are expecting their first child next month, even though they already have a baby. A rather large baby. Meet Joe.

What an adorable dog. We met at Memorial Park in Maplewood and everyone that walked by commented how cute Joe was. He was a little distracted though by all the activity at the park. We tried a couple of times for this shot and he finally pulled it off … like a champ. He’s going to be a great protector of the baby.

Jessica has stunning blue eyes so the blue shirt she chose was the perfect compliment.

She’s got the best baby bump too. So cute!

Her boyfriend Brandon was a little apprehensive about getting his picture taken (like most men) but I think he did an awesome job. He was a natural in front of the camera.

This next shot is my favorite. I lloooooove it!

They’ve already got one little boy and now they’ll be adding some girl power to their family. My sister-in-law says she hates pink, but I think it really suits her. Can you spot my nephew in the background. I could not stop laughing when I saw his head pop into the window for this shot.

He’s so cute. He’s not even 2 yet and he talks so much. He’ll say “baby” and point to his mommy’s belly. He loves cereal and Blue’s Clues and Baby Einstein.

He’s definitely going to keep his mommy and daddy busy.

I kind of cringe when I look at this picture because I was so afraid he was going to jump right on top of her belly.

Rachael is my cousin. She’s due in December and she’s having a girl. She’s already got the handsomest little boy you’ll ever meet and I’m sure her baby girl is going to be gorgeous. Doesn’t her belly look like a round little basketball?

I love this flower garden in the park we were at. I’m glad that everything is still in bloom. Pretty soon, it’ll be covered with snow!

Her husband is a U.S. Marine and was stationed in Afghanistan for what I’m sure felt like forever to Kelly. He’s home now, safe and sound, and getting ready for his little princess to be born. I can’t imagine what it must have been like for Kelly to be away from her husband for so long and to know that he was putting himself in harm’s way. I know Scott lost a few friends and I’m sure it’s an experience that has changed him forever. And it’s about to happen again … this time in a good way.

They are the sweetest couple too. Kelly always has a smile on her face and Scott is such a gentleman.

Have I mentioned how gorgeous she is? Oh and people always say how much we look alike. hahahaha!

Kelly, I’m so glad i got to see you finally! Scott, thanks for taking such good care of my cousin. I love you both!

On a personal note, my aunt, Kelly’s mom, received some bad news about her health recently that kind of shocked my family. I’ve often wondered why bad things happen to good people. It just doesn’t seem fair. The only thing I can take away from the situation is that life is short and it’s so important to be surrounded by people you love. it’s even more important to let those people know just how special they are. I feel so lucky to have such a wonderful family. Mariani girls ~ you will beat this!

Now she works at a camp and we met there yesterday for our session. The camp is so pretty. There is a lake with all these great lilly pads, but I have to admit I was a little nervous driving in. The road kind of ended and I had to keep going on this dirt path. There was a big iron gate that I had to pass through and I couldn’t help thinking about Friday the 13th. Oh and we found a snake! Pretty interesting.

Liz is from Australia and she’s going back home in December. She hasn’t seen her family in a long time and I’m sure they will be so excited to have her back … plus one. I’ve always wanted to travel to Australia. I don’t think I’d survive the flight with my kids though.

She’s also a big Red Sox fan.

It was so great to see you again Liz. You look amazing! I can’t wait to meet your little girl.

I wasn’t sure whether we were going to be able to get outside today because of the rain but I’m so glad we did. It turned out to be pretty nice after all and I looove the shots we got at the park. Vanessa, I had such a hard time choosing which ones to show you. I have so many favorites!! You and H were so great to hang out with today. I had a lot of fun!
