The wonderful thing about today though was being a part of a celebration of friendship. The S family is blessed to have friends that wanted to capture images of their families as a gift to them. What a wonderful thing to have beautiful new pictures to hang in their new home.

If only the rain would have stayed away a little while longer.

Jennifer, I wish you and your family the best of luck during your move. I am so flattered you all chose me to capture these memories for you.

I was honored to be asked to photograph the wedding of a friend’s mom. It was a small, private party and it was so lovely. The bride and groom looked wonderful and they were surrounded by their children and grandchildren.

Here’s just a quick peak.

The party was a carnevale theme so everyone had masks. Here are Olivia’s.

She had on a beautiful black and white dress. She looked like a princess headed to the ball. Hurry up or else you’ll be late …

One of the reasons I love Olivia is her sense of humor. She’s a silly girl so that makes for some fun pictures. Love this one!!

Those other two beauties up there are my nieces.The one on the left is a fantastic photographer (I taught her everything I know!) I hope one day she’ll come join me and we can work together.

After Miss Olivia made her grand entrance into the party, she danced with her daddy. Usually when I come home from work, I’ll upload my pictures and go through them to sort out the good from the bad. There are a ton of pictures that will inevitably end up on the cutting room floor and this is one that I might have ditched because it was too dark, but I really love the outline of the two of them dancing. Maybe it’s just me.

Ok so here’s the prettier shot. Daddy’s little girl. Awwww!

The best part is about half way through the song, the music changed and Olivia and her dad started busting moves on the dance floor. Hilarious! Look at everyone in the background.

Oh and I can’t go through this post without mentioning that Olivia has an adorable valentine. Don’t they make a cute couple?

Things have slowed down quite a bit here. No more sessions until the new year. It’s weird because I couldn’t wait for the holiday rush to be over and now that it is, I miss it. I love going to people’s homes and meeting their families. I’ve met so many amazing people this past year. I’m torn because I feel great about the success that I’ve had but anxious about what’s on the horizon.

I know one thing for sure, I will be offering Valentine’s Day mini sessions. There will be two dates ~ one for portraits and one for Bella Donna beauties. Here are the details.

Cupid’s Crush ~ $75

This includes the session fee as well as 2 5×7 prints and an e-card that you can send to family and friends.

Red Hot Bella Donna ~ $125

These sessions are for women only and will include makeup from the very talented Lauren at Expert Makeup Artistry. Your session will last 30 minutes and you will get one 8×10 as well as images on a CD. We have limited space available so reserve your spot today. Register Here!

Here’s just a quick peak at some of the images. I am going to post everything in a gallery on Friday. If you are interested in purchasing additional prints the cost will be $10. Prints can be any size up to an 8×10 so that means a set of wallets (8), 4×6, 5×7, or 8×10. Just e-mail me with the number of the image and what size you’d like.

It was a small turnout but so much fun! The kids were all adorable. The first person I met was Isabella. Mom got a monkey costume but took it one step further and brought some bananas. I loved it!!

The cuteness just kept coming.
