Breaking the Rules [Morris County Newborn Photographer]

If our session today is any indication of what life has in store for Miss Julia, watch out world.

Ask any newborn photographer and they’ll tell you that the best time to do newborn pictures is in the first 2 weeks of life. As early as possible so that you can get those sleepy, scrunched up poses.  Julia is just shy of 3 months old. I had no expectations about getting her to sleep for our session. I was very happy to see her all dressed and also to include mom and dad in the session. So we started out in her nursey. Look at that sweet, happy face!

After a little while, Julia started to get a bit fussy. She had a stuffy nose so mom and dad took care of the boogies.  Well Miss Julia was not a happy camper. She was plain old pissed. But it actually worked out pretty awesome for me because she got so worked up that she fell asleep. Can you believe it? I was able to do all the things I do with a 10 day old newborn with a 3 month old infant. I was thrilled!

Then she woke up and it was time for some mommy and daddy love. So sweet!

Paul and Daniela, it was so lovely to meet you both. You have a beautiful home and a beautiful daughter. Enjoy every moment!
